Linux and Open source is an ocean. There are so many things to learn and explore, it is possible to get lost. TGS will be your guide in your Linux journey, and show you the right path to take to make your Linux journey more fun and enjoyable.
I love implementing Linux and open source technologies in a real world mission critical environment. While I’ve been working on Unix and related technologies for more than 17 years, I’m still learning and growing every day. I get extreme satisfaction and fulfillment only when I share what I’ve learned with you. I’m extremely committed in sharing my knowledge in a meaningful way that benefits you. In this process, I’m also learning along with you.
On May 27th, 2008, I published my 1st article. Now we have over 590+ high quality articles on Linux, open source and related technologies. I also managed to write and publish 5 books during this time frame (including the updated 2nd edition of Linux 101 Hacks free eBook). I’m working on another exciting project for TGS. You’ll be hearing from me in few weeks on that.
My mission statement for TGS: To educate IT professionals in Linux and open source technologies by providing practical tutorials that solves real life IT problems. To learn and implement the latest IT infrastructure technologies. To share the knowledge with others.
Maintaining a high quality blog requires lot of motivation, commitment and sleepless nights, which I was able to do only because of the lovely support given by you.
